About CrystalTek™

CrystalTek™ is a new breed of chemical compounder with a health and environmental focus unique in the marketplace. Though many chemical companies have a green division or laboratory amongst their other productions, at CrystalTek™ we have a total commitment to green chemistry.   We take advantage of many newly available non-toxic, biodegradable chemical building blocks to produce green compounds that address industrial problems.  It’s our only focus.

Sometimes a solution to an industrial problem exists, but that solution is only available as a toxic compound.  When this is the case, we focus our R&D on achieving great results with green solutions.   For example,  Methyl-Chloride will strip vinyl, but unfortunately, it also requires an outside area, protective clothing, and careful fire precautions.  Some states have banned it because of its toxicity to both humans and wildlife.  Yet it continued to be used in large amounts for stripping airplanes, truck fleets, and other vinyl signage applications.

Then CrystalTek™ invented Vinyl-Off  - The non-toxic, biodegradable, safe to use indoors, and non-flammable. 

When wiped onto vinyl, it moves through the vinyl and into the adhesive, causing the vinyl to become more flexible and the adhesive to soften and relax on the substrate. This is exactly the type of industrial solution CrystalTek™ invents.  The CrystalTek™ standard requires that the products work exceptionally well, are easy to use, non-toxic, biodegradable, and safe. In developing the product line, CrystalTek worked with crews and as a crew themselves, using and comparing the available products in the market and determining the needs of graphics users and suppliers.

Today, CrystalTek™ manufactures and distributes CrystalTek™ Products, an environmental line of non-toxic, biodegradable products that work. Our current products include a complete line for protecting and removing vinyl graphics, products for detailing all vehicles, and an exceptional adhesive remover.
