I recently ordered your Vinyl-off product to remove graphics from a 15 year old truck I purchased to convert into a rolling warehouse. You stated that your product works very well. I am writing to inform you that you are providing false advertising. You should be stating the facts, something like: " Our product works ridiculously well and an 8 year old can use it." You see, as I began using the product, I was actually laughing as the vinyl came off the truck. My 8 year old son came over to see what I was laughing at and we ended up having a race to see who could get a 10 digit phone number off first. He won because I had to operate the heat gun ( we did it when it was 50 degrees out. I just don't have any idea how to convey to you how impressed with your products I am. I have been telling everybody about it and, the "Ghost-off" I used to clean THE WHOLE truck! Incredible. My boss recently purchased a gallon of your Ghost Off product to use in relationship to vehicle graphics. I decided to try it in my screen printing shop to remove a "ghost image" left behind in a screen after a print job. Let me tell you - you have a product here that you can market to the screen printing industry - just make a new label. I have been in this business for over 30 years and have not seen a product that works as good as this. The most common chemical used to remove ghost images from screens is caustic or contains harsh chemicals. I used to sell products for Lamber/Martin Screen Supply and have many years of hands-on printing using a multitude of ink systems. YOU NEED TO PURSUE THIS MARKET WITH THIS PRODUCT!

I tested the product on two windows at home that I decorated with 3 mil etch-look vinyl 18 years ago. The vinyl was yellow and cracking into hundreds of small pieces. The vinyl removal would have taken me hours of hard work. I sprayed VINYL-OFF and let it soak in about 15 minutes and I removed the vinyl with a razor blade in less than 30 minutes.
 

Wow! - Used Vinyl-Off to remove graphics and text that had been on a van for 10+ years.  We removed our phone number nine years ago to replace it, and still remember what a chore it was.  Used Vinyl-Off to remove everything to sell the van, and it was magic.  We followed the directions, and can't believe how well and how easily your product worked. One of the most difficult vinyl removal jobs in the industry!

We were told that one trailer had taken a two-person crew without Vinyl Off around 60 hours (40 hours to remove the vinyl and an additional 20 hours for adhesive removal) had become a one-day job with that same two person crew.

It was great to hear from you the other day and I wanted to let you know what a great product the “Vinyl Off” is. I am currently working on a project that has several problem areas, first the weather is cold, second most of the vinyl is older than 5 years, and third the different substrates. As most know old and cold make for hard removals. Well the Vinyl Off made a huge difference!  With just a little heat to warm up the substrate, the vinyl came right off. I will never hesitate to bid another removal job knowing this product is available! Thank you, Dennis, for developing the “Vinyl Off” product.  It is amazing and I would not have believed it if I had not tried it.  Even the adhesive comes off with the vinyl and not left on the vehicle!  This is a huge cost savings compared to a secondary clean-up of the adhesive which is the result of so many other products on the market. Thanks again for a SUPERB product “Vinyl Off”!

To Whom It Concerns,

I am removing vinyl from Concrete Trucks that have been cleaned with acid.  The Vinyl off takes off the vinyl great but leaves all the adhesive? Am I doing something wrong? I am using a large torch to heat.... The vinyl I am removing is a cast vinyl that has been cleaned with acid several times...

Any suggestions?

Usually when the vinyl comes off and leaves the adhesive, Vinyl Off is being too aggressive.  You may be heating it too much.  Just warm to the touch is all the heat you need, much less than removing vinyl without the chemical.  Try that first.  If it still leaves the adhesive, give us a call at 770-643-8501 and ask to speak to Dennis.  He's the expert and would be happy to speak with you.

Thanks a million, I have 48 Concrete Trucks to remove Large decals off of and this stuff is a big time labor saver, tried the MBX Vinyl Zapper 3 Wheels ($35 a piece) per truck and 3 hours to remove all the decals, With your product about 45 minutes a truck and now that I am using correctly very little adhesive cleanup, Thanks

So that you know here is the background on the job:

Central Redi-Mix (partly owned by JB Hunt) sold the interest of their Redi-Mix portion of their business including 60-10 1/2 yard Peterbuilt Mixer trucks that were 4 years old, 6 Peterbuilt 18 Wheel Powder Transport Trucks, 4 Peterbuilt Quad Axle Dump Trucks, and 14-18 Wheel Peterbuilt End Dump Trucks to Mid-Continent Concrete Company, A Division of GCC America. 

One of the requirements of the buyout is that The Central Logo had to be off the trucks within 60 days after the buyout and off the plants within 90 days of the buyout. Their shop attempted to remove the Decals from the Mixer trucks.  Their first truck took them nearly 30 hours to completely remove all the graphics from one mixer truck, and they decided that would not be an option. So they contacted me.

My first truck took my crew of three (including myself) about 6 hours (18 man-hours) to complete.  When this happened I began to look for tools or chemicals that would speed this process up. After much research, the first tool that I purchased was MBX Vinyl Zapper which was a very expensive option ($400) then it took 2.5 wheels per truck ($34 each) it also took 3.5 hours per truck and made a huge mess.  My next attempt was a decal remover which was another expensive option.  It took two 20 oz cans per truck (at $32 per can) and about 2 1/2 hours per truck.  Then I found 10-4 Vinyl Off.  A $9 bottle would do 4 trucks and knocked the strip time down to about 1- 1.5 hours per truck. This stuff worked great.  Spray it on.  Wait about 15 minutes.  Then heat it up, and presto, just like a big rubber band, these things come off with very little adhesive to clean off!!!!!   I can't say enough good things about your product!!! Keep up the great work. The Mixer Trucks had a 36" yellow circle blue border with a blue star and red center on the star, the same logo on each door along with phone # and USDOT # on each side. (3M Cast 8 year vinyl)

Just thought you might like to see these pictures we took of the bottom of our boat.  We live on the coast and keep our boat in dry storage but we use the boat a lot.  Every spring we have to clean the bottom because of the stains we get from the water around here. We got some of your polish to use on it last year.  We were just trying it out so we deliberately left one portion unpolished except for polishing our initials in it. 

Later in the season last year I noticed some spots we had missed.  I guess if we had done a better job covering our boat with your polish last year we might have been able to skip this year's ordeal.  You can bet we won't make the same mistake this year!!!  Thanks for a great polish!

We bought our truck used, and it had some vinyl graphics that we did not care for. I had tried several sticker removal products with no success, but Vinyl-Off looked too good to be true. I tried it today and it worked great. In about 20 minutes I had the six foot long graphic off with no adhesive left behind.

This municipality’s maintenance group had so much fun with Vinyl-Off, they even sent us pictures! They called to say it was almost impossible to remove this reflective vinyl until they tried Vinyl-Off 10-4. Then they sent the pictures so we could see for ourselves.

I tried Vinyl Off on one of the worst Budweiser route trucks we've come across. The product seemed to give the material new life. With the correct heat and angle of pull, it also took the adhesive off with the vinyl. I and the man who had spent the previous 2 days removing the vinyl from this same truck, were amazed. Your Vinyl Off is the best product we have found for removing decals from our trailers. On most decals it cuts removal time in at least half and less than a quart will do one side of a 35ft trailer. This is a very good product.

I washed and polished my wife's white Honda car, which had so much oxidation that the white finish had gray streaks. I used 3 of the products, the shampoo, the Ultra Glass and the Diamond Coat Polish. The shampoo removed the oxidation with ease with a soft car wash brush and when I was finished with the polish, the car looked brand new. After that treatment, her car did not need washing again for 6 weeks! I was amazed! It was refreshing to clean her windows with an efficient cleaner that did not reek of ammonia. Finally - car care products for people without a lot of time.

Dennis was very professional in his explanation of how 10-4 works. He sent us out a sample to try and in the mean time we had already purchased a product WL (which we had to pay for before we used) and had a good opportunity to compare half and half. 10-4 worked just as advertised. Product XL just made a mess. There was no comparison. The very next morning I ordered five (5) gallon of 10-4 from CrystalTek™.

The CrystalTek™ products are fantastic! I was skeptical about washing my car without applying water first. I mixed the CrystalTek™ Wash according to the instructions, and got started. It works. The months (literally) of grime and dirt was gone. The car looked great.

Even though I had to leave to go some place, I had a few minutes to try CrystalTek™ Polish. I figured that I had enough time to get the hood done. My compulsive nature "forced" me to try because I had to see how it looked. I couldn't believe that I polished the ENTIRE car with time to spare. The depth of the shine is phenomenal. I didn't believe a six year old car could look that good again.

I have tried every imaginable brand of wash and polish on the market. My garage shelves are full of partially used bottles and cans of every major brand. I have been using your products for 6 months and they are great! I used your polish on my Volvo v70 wagon and the shine was so great I had to put my sun glasses on, I then gave a sample of it to the local Harley Motorcycle dealer and boy were they impressed on how easy it went on and off. There was no drying time.
 
Your window cleaner is the best that I have ever tried no streaking; it just leaves the windows sparkling. I have one problem with the window cleaner, my wife loves it so much that she won’t give it back, so I think I'm going to have to buy a case of it to make us happy. I also love your Micro Fiber Detailing towels, they work great on my car and they work great in my home. My wife won’t give these back either so I think I will have to order a dozen more.

It took me a month to try, because I was skeptical at first especially since there are so many products out there to wax and polish vehicles. After trying CrystalTek™ Auto Polish I could not believe the difference in the flowablity and elasticity of the product on the surface as compared to some of the others I have tried. It was so easy to use, and just a thin coat was all it took to give a great "protective wax" appearance.

Re-did an 8 year old fiberglass boat and used your vinyl remover to replace all the graphics, and tried a sample of your Diamond polish.
 
The boat looks like new!! I have entered this order for more polish. So easy and the boat actually sparkles
 
The remover softened up the vinyl a little too much and left the adhesive on the boat. (Note from CrystalTek™ technical support: Leaving the adhesive behind means Vinyl-Off is being too aggressive. When this happens, use less heat.) However, I started the vinyl by itself and used a hair dryer to soften it and removed most of the vinyl intact. I did, however, use the vinyl remover to remove the remaining adhesive and it worked very well. A wallpaper razor also works with it as long as you are careful. I look forward to receiving the polish.

I just had to write in to tell you about my experience with your Vinyl-Off product. I tried to remove some vinyl stripes from my spoiler ('04 Silverado) with no help and this was a horrible experience. The stripes on the hood were 4+ years old and not in very good shape. Well, once I became proficient (dwell time, heat gun), I was able to remove both rally stripes from the hood in less than 1.5 hours with no adhesive left behind. Thanks!
